Those that know me best know that food, cooking, and entertaining are great passions of mine.  It's simple; I was raised by the quintessential southern mother and grandmother that have probably rolled at least a million biscuits and baked thousands of pans of cornbread in their lives and who knows how much sweet tea they have brewed just in my lifetime!

I have also been inspired by my Mississippi girlfriends.  Tragedy turned to blessing after losing one of our own many years ago to cancer. My Mississippi girlfriends and I have spent over a decade traveling and enjoying wonderful experiences and friendships.  All our gatherings are centered around great food, drinks, and ridiculously fun conversation, including the creation of Sensatiables.  We even created a cookbook that chronicled our trips and related dishes during the first ten years.

Like many others, I was forced out of my job due to the weak economy.  However, it opened up an opportunity for me to experiment and cook my little heart out.  And after overwhelmingly great feedback (I actually love the facial expression when I see someone taste my creations), I have produced what I believe to be incredibly tasty jams and I would love to share them with you.  But beware: They are NOT your grandma's traditional flavors.  Sensatiables' Lemon Basil Banana Pepper is absolutely scrumptious when drizzled over fried green tomatoes, then topped with goat cheese.
